Twelve-year-old Rishi Mehta studies in standard 6 in a school in Goa. He is a vegetarian and believes that human beings do not have the right to take the life of another living being.
An ardent lover of animals and nature, Rishi does his part to help all the animals he comes across. He makes a point of feeding the dogs and birds who live next to his house. He loves bird-watching, too!
Rishi is strongly against cruelty to animals, and he has written a beautiful poem with his thoughts on vegetarianism. By far the best way to help animals is to not eat them!
